Network Weather Service

I've been attending to the new release of NWS (for both NMI and the normal release). So far I've been doing bug-fixes, packaging and reworked the nameserver. I'm working on thread-safeness, adding new sensors and more...

Virtual Instrument

I've been working on the event system for the VI. The event system is targeted upon NWS for now, but it should be easily extendible.

NSF Middleware Initiative

Take a look at the NMI web site for more information. NWS is been part of NMI since the beginning.

Older projects

Grid Application Development Software

GrADS is an ongoing project still of interest for the Mayhem lab.

AppLeS

AppLeS at the Grid Computing Lab at UCSD. I worked there for few years before coming to Santa Barbara. I've worked on AppLeS, GrADS, APST and more when I was there.

NILE

(NSF National Challenge) that has to do with distributed computing for high-energy physicists. Our goal is to provide a deep hierarchical storage system and a distributed runtime environment for very long-running jobs.

DOCT

I worked with Keith Marzullo in order to add fault tolerance to the Legion framework that DOCT used.
